MyPocketDoctor Kenya is located at: Springette office park, Off Lower Kabete Road, behind Spring Valley Police station, Nairobi.

Any disputes are subject to Kenyan law and the physicians are under the same rules and regulations within the legal authority of Kenya. MPD-Kenya specializes in guiding people with health concerns swiftly and virtually. (The service can be accessed through the internet using the website and app.)

Medical Advisory

Remember to buy travel insurance for any other medical costs, hospital admissions etc. The Platform does not cover physical examinations and treatments; this is normally taken care of by your travel insurance or agreements between the health authorities in your home country and the country you are travelling to.

The rate is KES 990 per consultation. After the consultation, you will receive an email invoice.

Legislation

MPD-Kenya physicians cannot in any way be held responsible for managing acute conditions that require physical surgery or treatment. They can coordinate with other physicians, and guide you in regards to the treatment of demanding conditions, which are not urgent but still require medical attention. For emergency cases always contact the local emergency services.

Physicians are independent self-employed contractors and are regulated by the health authorities in their respective countries, where they have authorization to practice medicine. (This will be countersigned by the team in your area.)
